Responsibilities:
With your expertise in space projects, your innovative ideas and your power you ensure that our new high-quality products fulfill the requirements of our customers. As Project Manager, you are accountable for all technical, commercial and programmatic aspects of your project. In particular, your tasks and responsibilities are:
- Personnel responsibility for the Project Management & Work Preparation department
- Technical management and development of employees
- Management of customer projects and internal projects for the development, qualification and / or production of power electronics for space applications based on the project management methods of PMI / PMBOK
- Project responsibility for the entire project in terms of time, scope, cost and quality
- Implementation of the required Q-Gate including the corresponding documentation to ensure proper project tracking
- Coordination and monitoring of subcontractor work packages and project orders via the purchasing department
- Coordination of the resources needed in the project
- Project documentation, management reporting, lessons learned
- Central point of contact for the customer
- Change and complaint management
- Feedback to management and sales; support in business acquisition
- Monthly project status, sales forecast
- Continuous process improvement; Optimization of work processes in terms of quality, costs and time
- Deputy of the COO
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in employee management
- Extensive knowledge of project management methods and several years of experience in managing projects in the field of electronics development projects
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar
- Customer-oriented / communicative / team-oriented / on schedule / work organization & process-oriented / problem-solving / innovative / responsible & decisive
- English language: level of negotiation; German language: fluent
