ASP-NEWSVisit by State Secretary Dr. Patrick Rapp and Member of Parliament Klaus Hoher at ASP31. July 2024

We were delighted to welcome the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism, Dr. Patrick Rapp, to ASP Equipment GmbH (ASP) on July 30, 2024. Also among the guest was Member of Parliament Klaus Hoher from Salem. In addition to an interesting tour of our cleanroom, we had the opportunity to exchange views on economic policy topics both within and outside the aerospace industry. Our CEO, Dr. Reiner Strobel, noted that while ASP is doing very well overall, further significant growth is primarily limited by the shortage of skilled workers. In this context, there was a discussion about the proposal of a project to further qualify engineers from the automotive sector for the aerospace industry. Other topics included the “welcoming culture” for foreign professionals – raging from Blue Card issuance to childcare and integrative leisure activities. ASP already employs staff from 16 different nations.

We thank Dr. Patrick Rapp and Klaus Hoher for their interest in and support for the aerospace industry.
