In June 2023, ASP Equipment GmbH (ASP) and Airbus Defence and Space signed a contract for the Mass Change Mission. In the frame of this contract, ASP is providing the PCU and PDU for the US-German project for gravitational field measurement.
On September 21, 2023, the next milestone of the project has now been successfully achieved: A delegation from Airbus Defence and Space, along with representatives from JPL / NASA (the end customer), visited ASP for the so-called Inheritance Review. “During the joint review, we were able to confirm the strong technical foundation, upon which the preparations for the construction of both PCUs and PDUs can now proceed further”, expresses Martin Blaser (COO) with satisfaction, and he conveys his joy: “We take pride in showcasing our expertise and capabilities to such a renowned US customer like JPL.”
