This technology demonstrator of a Propulsion Power Unit was used to prove the ASP technology concept by coupling tests with a RIT thruster.
The digital control is based on a FPGA to convert all required signals into a digital value, calculate the control algorithm and generate the PWM pattern to drive the power stage.
